Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

It happens suddenly: she hears his snarl as his massive frame collided with her smaller one. Pain sinks into much of her shoulder region at this time as she falls off balance tumbling onto the ground. She sees his retaliation and with a darkened glare her maw stands agape showing blood thirsting fangs. She knew well enough to protect her throat and as his paw comes down it is in potential danger of being savagely maimed should it continue for her throat. She would greedily snatch it away in her jaws should he place it within the proper reach. Something to make him fall from that mountain he seemed to be on.

She was grateful for the thicker layer of coat around her neck and base of the skull. As his paw collided with her windpipe she kept her teeth bare with a clear look of defiance. She thrashes with harsh teeth eager to seek purchase on flesh but as his weight wares on, she simply makes herself dizzy from lack of oxygen. Thus, forcing her to settle and regain herself. In this moment he brings his face closer as he hisses of how she is a fool. No matter the pressure and pain she felt; she snapped as harshly as she could trying to cease his face wishing to see blood for vengeance of his poor insult and simply his existence. He speaks yet again and turns from her and this only forces her rage. “And you believe that scares me?” She chuckles shallowly trying musing at the pair. Few things did she fear and they were not one. Losing Nakki? Yes, perhaps that but certainly not this pair before her.

He had spoken to his brother and released the pressure from her delicate throat as she quickly made her way to her paws and hungrily took in oxygen. His brother’s eyes taunt her and the rage only makes her shake. A deep growl reverberates from within. Her eyes never leave the pair but it is clear she speaks to the brother of her former quarry. “The punishment you imagine you will gain pleasure from could never match the pleasure it would be to rip that tongue of yours from your jaws.” She hissed clearly not amused by his comment but as she glimpsed another her demeanor changed.

Her ears fell flat and hackles rose. She hadn’t resorted to being fearful quite yet but a third? She needed to escape and quickly. Gazing upon the newest male to arrive she couldn’t understand the spark that ran through her. What kind of sorcery was this? She couldn’t process thoughts on the matter. : What did it mean, why was he here, who was this creature that could cause such a sensation? Yet in these moments it didn’t matter; she was not pleased to be stuck in such a den with all three around her she couldn’t be rid of them all by herself. Perhaps she didn’t fear the concept of death but didn’t desire it to come for her this day.

All she could do in the restrictive place was to pace; snapping at the pair closest in each movement and turn. Her eyes were practically glazed over and her movement becomes more frantic and crazed. She only imagined they prey she had seen taken by packs so many times before…her adoptive family… she couldn’t be weak as they were. No, she wouldn’t be killed as they were. She was stronger than that. Maeve challenged for their space clearly eager to escape past them but with didn’t desire to get attacked by one or both of them. “Move” she snarled with snapping teeth should they move to touch her she was done with today and was desperate to get back to some semblance of a safe haven. If it came down to it they would move or she would quickly make them wish they did.
