I was getting really good at this sneaking out thing without Shiloh knowing. Nothing against her or the wolves of Diveen, but I was tired of laying around all day long and i'd already explored all there was of Diveen. I guess you could say I preferred being a loner in some ways. Yeah it was lonely at times and very dangerous, but I could explore and do what I wanted. Maybe one day i'd settle down and join a pack, but for now I liked the freedom. As soon as I was fully healed, I would thank the wolves of Diveen and Shiloh, then set off again. This time i'd be more careful though, I couldn't afford to be attacked and left for dead like that again.
I hoped along, dancing in the snow piles. My wounds had scabbed over and I knew they would leave terrible, scary scars, but that was okay; i'd rather be scary than dead. Because if I was dead I couldn't be with my friends: Shiloh, Nogitsune, and Alusion. That would make me sad, I loved them so much, I couldn't leave them yet. We had so many more adventures to have, we had to grow up together. I was determined to stay alive for them, for my foster mother who passed away. It wasn't my time to see her yet.
I looked up to the sky in time to see lightning flash, these were not snow clouds, these were rain clouds! It suddenly began to downpour and I yipped, it was going to melt my snow! Soon though, I forgot about playing in the snow and began to dance in the rain, my tail wiggling and happy barks escaping my maw. Oh I loved the rain! The lighting lit up my way as thunder clapped along to my playful antics. I was soaked to the bone, but I didn't care! Sure i'd have to explain why I was wet to Shiloh when I got back, but that was later and this was now.
I was so blinded by my fun I almost didn't notice the white male walking through the fields. My purple gaze watched him curiously, he seemed distraught about something. Despite my better judgement I dashed forward to go talk to him. Maybe he could be my new friend! Unfortunately, the ground was all slippery and wet, and my slightly splayed paw left me unbalanced. I slipped and fell! I slid through the mud and right up to him, stopping just before I hit him. Now I was all muddy and gross! I stood up and shook off the mud to show my grey coat and my healing wounds. I gave him my signature goofy smile, my tail wagging happily. "Hiya! Whatcha' doing out here alone in the rain?" I asked cheerfully. My purple eyes sparkling with friendliness.
