OOC:. Aye! Sorry for my crappy post... I haven RP'd in a while, and my computer is f-...jacked up .-.
..::IC::..
My lean frame and slender legs easily carried my speckled pelt away from my obnoxious brothers as I heard their howls. 'How DARE they mention our mom and dad? Just because I was youngest doesn't mean I don't know them enough to miss them...' I thought bitterly.
A small sigh of relief washed over me as I realized the rain would block my scent from them. Maybe Standing would let me slip by Dead? I shook my cranium and raised my head as I let the rain was away the streaks if blood from the claw marks on my shoulder.
My brother and I had gotten into a fight, leaving us both injured in some way. Good thing it wasn't serious. As I heard the rushing of water, a single thought crossed my mind.
'Because of the rain.... Does that mean I can't cross the river? Well...' I held in the bitter word that nearly slipped from my maw as the sound grew.
A short moment later, I was at the opening to the river, where the sheltering tree line thinned out to a few straggling trees with low overhangs.
I softly inhaled as my oddly colored coat decorated me and stuck to my gaunt frame. I guess the whole 'not eating' phase of mine had gotten to me.
My usually tough and stubborn mask had softened slightly as I carefully placed myself at the rivers gravely bank. I felt my audits perk at a voice, seemingly from the water. As I processed what they said, I strained my neck out over the river and peered carefully at the water. When my gaze rested upon a black frame, I stood at my full height before digging my hind claws into the bank for the friction I dearly needed. I wiggled my haunches slightly before springing off the gravel. I splashed a foot or two from the figure before bumping my shoulder against his, or who I guessed as a he, and knotted my teeth into the fur if his shoulder. I kept my lean legs paddling as I swept myself at an angle towards shore, my teeth still entangled in his fur.
