Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

twelve - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spirane

this is her in blackouts

It was heartwarming to feel the paw of Mistletoe come around her neck and seem to drag her closer; Natu sighed into the neck of her friend feeling for all the world as if the great weight on her shoulders has lifted if but for a moment. So much has happened in her life in the past year. Clearly much has happened in her brother's and Mistletoe's. It is delightful to know that she will have nieces and nephews running about and very soon by the look of her swollen stomach. But her own stomach roiled at the thought of Sven back in Spirane. What would Mistletoe think if she told her the story? She might forbid Natu to come near her own children. The very idea strikes discord within her momentarily peaceful heart and she shoves the idea deep within her. Unless it came to light she wasn't going to mention it to her family. Such could only cause strife and grief among them.

Mistletoe is a bundle of happy energy. As she speaks the tension that once more lines Natu's shoulders eases again and she smiles brightly at the female. It truly is a wonder the difference in Warlow, she thinks. And to be a father soon.. so strange. Not too long ago he was a vicious vagabond trailing in her footsteps with nothing to keep his mind occupied. She had forgotten the scar that hides above her lip as courtesy from her brother, forgotten it in the other scars that now litter her body. She often wondered how she remained so healthy looking when all she did was stress.

She can see the moment those emerald eyes latch onto her newfound scars and Natu sighs as Mistletoe questions her. It feels so nice to have someone care about her so much as to cry out at such violence. If she was a weaker wolf, if she didn't have all this stuff to hide, she might fall down and weep before Mistletoe just to release such feelings. But there are certain things that must be kept within her. "Much has happened to me, sister of mine. I was set upon by the Queen of Iromar and for no reason at that. But I have found a friend among my packmates and she saved my life that day. If it wasn't for her I would not be here now with you." Her smile is at once sad and uplifting.

But the smile turns into something joyful at Mistletoe's hesitant offer and her pale eyes light up in excitement. "Oh yes I would love too! It has been so long..." The last part is mumbled for really it hasn't been too long. Only these pups would love Natu where Sven begrudged her - and with every right. If she didn't quit her sudden shifts of melancholia then her friend might notice such volatile changes, a side effect of the fall Natu thinks. And her stained heart. The image of her brother being climbed over by pups makes her laugh suddenly and her eyes to twinkle. "He has no idea what is coming." She grinned mischievously. "This will be very fun to watch!"
