He feels a sense of.. depravity when locked away within Iromar’s borders once again. The burning desire that had lodged itself deep in his gut was now only but a simmering ache that had settled after his encounter with the ethereal girl. The uncontrollable desire and instinctive need to be within her presence again tortures his soul to its limits and yet he remains in the murky depths of the moorland. It is his home and perhaps always will be. He is but an outcast no matter where it is that he goes but he feels some sense of.. home amid the caliginous estate that cannot be explained. Perhaps it is because his mother’s soul rests at the darkest, nebulous depths of the swamp and he simply cannot abandon her.

The thought brings a solemn look upon the boy’s face as he makes his way back into the territory from another of his excursions. He quite enjoyed seeking company outside of the pack considering that they could bring him much more information regarding other packs and the life of a loner wolf; he only wanted to learn and to perhaps spread this knowledge when needed. It could be possible that one day, far into the future, that he could become an informant of sorts and be of aide to the pack in those regards. Just maybe..

His paws carry him along quietly as he skirts the inner border of the pack, not entirely sure if he wants to turn in so early when so many other things are going on just across the horizon, and so he keeps close to the outer rim in hopes of finding something intriguing enough to turn his interest away for another period of time.

It is a gift from fate itself that he is given something to pull him further from Iromar’s bowels as a stranger of a myriad of colors stands boldly amongst the reeds and swamp water just beyond the terra. His pace slows only slightly as he observes her first, delighting in the rich tone of ruddy brown that she carries in her pelage, similar to that of the demons that he shares his home with. But she cannot be a new recruit - he had not heard a single word of her - and it is on this notion that he now approaches confidently yet composed. He is taller than her and with his thick winter coat he appears to be about the same girth as well, yet it is all a trick to the eye, he was created for speed and stealth underneath this winter guise. It is no matter if she were to be larger any way; Elara is much thicker and taller than he because of her bloodline but that does not concern him even in the slightest, as it does not with this girl.

“Hello.” He speaks a singular word in greeting with a soft tone and his posture rather neutral. She is not within Iromar’s borders and she has every right to be standing just outside of them if she chooses to do so - Malum will not turn away a potential companion or pack mate. Pink and jade eyes flicker to her reflection as she seems to be so intrigued with what it is that she is looking at. Perhaps she does not like what she sees in return?
