The two moved as one, their coats a total opposite of one another, and yet, they didn’t seem all that different. One was slightly taller than the other, slimmer as well. The other had a lot more weight to him, and moved a little behind the taller, since his legs were slightly shorter. The two moved through the grotto. They both came to a cave, and with a tilt of their heads, they went their separate ways within the network of caves. He moved with a silent stealth, his large legs eating up much of the ground as he moved within the dark cave. His half slitted eyes watched each and every crack and crevice within the walls that were around him. Ross was his name. He was older, not by much, but it still counted. He was much leaner than Rye was, and taller as well. But his little brother was still that, his little brother. They were twins, identical with their colorings, just opposite spots. He was a deep russet/sienna color, white-silver brindles and a black chest. His eyes were gray and gold, gray on the top half, gold on the bottom with a brown triangle in the outside top corner of his left eye. He was a bit high stung in most matters, but he still was a level head when it came to directions, hence why they had taken different directions in the multitude of caves. Rye was stubborn and hard headed and refused to listen to his brother. Now, it was only a matter of time until Ross found his way out of the cave, and Rye, well, he figured the boy would get lost, turn around and then take the same place that he just took. Ross always thought he was right, and honestly, Rye was more than fed up with his brother’s lack of trust in his little brother. And man, did he hate being called the little brother. Rye was shorter, thicker, and his color was much different than his brother. Black, white-silver brindle, with a red chest. Eyes were the exact opposite of his brothers as well. Rye was trying to figure his way through these caverns, not knowing in which direction he was supposed to go, he kept walking, and honestly, he was so lost. But he was not about to turn around and prove that his brother was right. Oh hell no. Rye would find his way out, one way or another and damnit, he would prove he knew the way as well. Sure enough, it took about an hour, but Rye came face to face with Ross. The smaller brother chuckled upon seeing his older brother, who looked as if he’d been waiting for a while. “I told you I would find my way out. You never have faith in me.” “Well, Rye, as I’ve been waiting for much longer, I’d still say I was right.” Ross & Rye we all shrivel up like a leafross / male / four / red with white brindle and black chest / 40 in / 160 lb rye / male / four / black with white brindle and red chest / 38 in / 175 lb |
