Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The only thing we're allowed to do is to believe we won't regret the choice we made

(p.s. only his left leg has the black on it ;) )

My icy blue gaze stared down at the grey pup whos ears flicked, recognizing my voice and presence, but his eyes remained closed. If this wolf thought I was being arrogant, then he had another thing coming, he might need to open his eyes and look at himself. I was simply getting something I rightly deserved, he was no better than me and did not have my respect. Therefor he was nothing in my eyes, a stranger, someone beneath me, and someone who would need to prove their worth if they were ever to find a comrade in me.

He spoke his name, and I simply stared, watching as one of his eyes peeked open slightly. When his eyebrow raised, so did mine. So he thought I was small, big deal. Size was nothing in this world, I didn't need to be big to prove that I was strong. I was going to be so strong, nobody ever looked down on me. Not my sisters, and certainly not this brat.

When he spoke again, I almost snorted in amusement. This pup really did believe he was better than me. He was only a year older than me, in no way my elder. Sure he'd been alive longer, but by the looks of him he'd accomplished nothing in that time. He would see why he was so very wrong. I ever so slightly shifted my paw, moving it to a position that pinched his skin in a very uncomfortable way. "Tch, i'm starting to wonder if you have a disease in your brain to make you think that or if you're just an idiot," I said, a smirk of my own coming across my face as I hopped off the pup.

I trotted in front of Sciathan, keeping just out of paws reach of him, in case he wanted to try anything. He then asked me for my name with a chuckle, about something i'm sure he thought was comical in that pea sized brain of his. "Levi," I said, staring at him with a deadpan expression. My ears suddenly flicked as I head the sound of tiny feet scurrying, my attention turned away from the pup. A small red creature scurried towards me, it was smaller than me, but it was still pretty big. I stood and stalked up to it, sniffing it curiously. Then it suddenly reached out with one of its strange appendages and attempted to nip my nose.

I recoiled back slightly, just out of its reach. My icy gaze narrowed and I immediately reached out with my paw and smacked the strange creature right on its shell. It again snapped out at me, now it had done it. I pushed it down with my paw and pinned it to the ground. As it went to snap at me again, I grabbed it claw in my mouth and used my jaws and developing teeth to pull the claw off and spit it on the ground. I quickly grabbed the other, smaller claw and did the same as it attempted to nip at my salt and pepper left leg.

Now it was completely defenseless. "Tch, stupid creature," I said, quickly scooping the creature up in my mouth as it tried to run away when I released it from under my paw. I walked back over to Sciathan and put the creature down, allowing it to scurry into him. "What is it?" I asked, looking up at Sciathan with deadpan eyes. It was worth a shot asking him, though he probably wasn't smart enough to know; so much for age. I wanted to learn about this world, learn how to become stronger than it. It started with finding out what the red creature I just defeated was called.
