I'm new to the area and still figuring out the lake. I'm targeting catfish. I do a lot of fishing early evening and into the night. I usually use cut shad on bottom. Have been fishing the west bank just south of the Pro Bass Shop. Results have been mixed. Last few times I've went out its been awful fishing. Was wondering if any fellow fisherman have any tips on good catfishing spots? I don't expect you to give up your secret spot. I'm just looking for a few more places to fish. I catch and release everything. I don't take fish home. Hows Blackhawk area? I appreciate any info you guys can offer.
