All these wolves, and I only noticed one in particular. It was strange, I didn't get it at all. I tried to wrap my mind around it, but it didn't make sense. My foster mama had told me something about this thing called imprints, but I still didn't get it. Before I knew it, my purple gaze had locked onto a black wolf, even all the way up from my little view point I saw him. There was nothing special about this male, but at the same time everything about him was different. Something inside me said to go down and talk to him, no it told me I had to. Even though I was hurt still, and it could be dangerous, I was willing to throw caution to the wind to sate my curiosity.
Then it happened, he began to call, singing his song which beckoned only one to him, and somehow, I knew that one was me. I bounced up, my body feeling a new sense of excitement and energy. My tail wagged and I started down to where the mystery male waited, my purple eyes sparkling in the sunlight. I bounded over quickly to the source of the song that had seemed to call out to my soul.
My feet danced along, a soft breath running through grey fur, and I felt a strange feeling as I came up to the male. He was older than me by several years and also much bigger (well then again I was really, really small). I smiled, my signature goofy/friendly smile. My head tilted curiously, making my ears flop over in a silly manner. "Hello," I said in a cheery tone. My purple gaze stared into his orange eyes softly. My tail wagged and that weird feeling from before was now overwhelming me.
Whoever he was, I felt like he was important to me in some way
