Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Renegade, unsurprisingly, thought himself rather handsome, and he thought himself tough as well. Perhaps he would be able to show this female what he was made of in time. Wouldn't that be lovely? His crimson eyes narrowed, he was smarter than to start a fight in pack lands, but that didn't stop him from visualizing it. He snorted scornfully as she replied to his snide comment, clearly amused rather than angry, which only served to further infuriate him. She did introduce herself though, Rogue. Their names were similar, strangely enough, both were usually synonymous with living outside of the law. He didn't see how she could live up to her name living in a pack, though. As he walked further into the packlands his distaste for the pack life only grew stronger and he didn't see how anyone could chose this life. Perhaps he was just bitter- it was a pack, albeit not directly, that had killed his partner. He muttered under his breath before pushing the thought from his mind. This wasn't the time to think about those things.

Piss ant huh? He was with her on that, he had been called much worse than that. "That's all ya got? Couldn't do better th'n piss ant, Miss Rogue? I admire yer effort, though." He glanced back at her, a smirk on his russet maw. "Y've got the pleasure of speakin' to none other than Renegade 'imself, the greatest thief in the western desert. Sounds purdy good, dun'it?" He huffed, of course the title... didn't really apply anymore. But he wasn't about to give his life story to this chick. After all he would find his way out of here as soon as she left him alone. He was sure he could find his way out of her shitty little pack quite easily.

His darker ears flicked backwards to catch her next words. "Fish? Seals? I lived in the desert up until a little while ago, I ain't never seen a damn fish in my entire life. Dun' even know what the hell a seal is. Y' could be talkin' about somethin' completely fake for all I know." Renegade snorted again, his tail flicking in annoyance. He couldn't imagine that something like that would taste good anyway. His small frame partially came from the fact that he had subsisted mostly off of desert creatures, which tended to be quite small. And when a coyote wandered too close, well, then he had food for a little while longer. That was always a nice surprise. Rogue's attempts at trying to get him to loosen up or whatever didn't seem to be working quite well, that was for sure.

Her next question caused him to stop and turn around, looking at her quizzically. "An' why exactly do ya care how my life is?"
