IMHO ~ After dark from midnight to dawn are the best time to score well... You can catch plenty of 17-20" little eater size in the daytime on weekdays in April & May while the Slam-bite is on, But to score consistantly on the sUMos think after dark

1) Rapala SSR7 w/S's ~ search tool
2) Walleye Diver w/S's ~ search tool
3) Rattle-Trap w/Z's ~ for the Eyes over 5lb, when located...
-Don't forget the Eye-Candy method for the dog-days of summer at night
