Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

She had been stuck in these confines for far too long and she was growing tired of mother coddling and licking her. She was keeping her away from adventure but today she had promised to take her out of the den and let her explore. She could just see the light peeking into the den where she lay as she scrambled out of her mother’s paws to the entrance of their den. “Enya.” She heard her mother call as small ears fell flat on her dial and she gave a puppy like look of complaint before wondering to her mother’s muzzle with a lowered head. She offered a soft puppy growl as she was pulled close and licked clean. She finally was released as Mistletoe let go and rolled over. She growled softly pulling on her mother’s ears offering only frustrated complaints. “You promised we would go out today! You and Daddy are so lazy!” She huffed at Mistletoes reply but knew she would get nowhere. “I said I would take you out I did not say when dear… sometimes you must learn patients. Now, go back to sleep! The sun is hardly even up at this hour.” This frustrated Enya to no end as she listened to the soft breathing of her dearest companion she could not help think of the outside world, could she really pass up the chance to explore?

The answer was quickly decided as she bound out of the entrance of her little crevasse she called home she put a small muzzle to the ground sneezing as she sniffed a small flower before her focus shifted to the small creature nibbling on some plants. Intense eyes remained transfixed on the fury thing (Pika) she didn’t know the name of but it looked fun to play with. She lowered herself to the ground with her front paws her tail waving high in the air. It was clear she was no good at this game but it was to be given credit for her first time out she had found her own toy all by herself! As she tried to crawl closer to cease her new play thing it let out a small chirp and began to flee her. She barked in complaint as she tries to leap on the little creature. What was this? Success! She managed to cease it; complains from her toy growing as she put her weight on it. She licked the little creatures head and kept her massively disproportionate paws on the creature nipping at its ears and soft belly unaware if she was doing harm of which she hoped not for if her toy is broken who could she play with then?
