One ear or two ear, it hardly mattered. What was important was throwing off his senses and giving him a nasty bout of pain to cloud his judgement all the same. The sacrifice had been a rather nasty piece of work but nonetheless, there were few things in the world capable of slowing down Tesseract. After all, the more pain he suffered, the more adrenaline pumped through his pain and the greater his hunger for control became. That had always been his prerogative: he needed the upper hand in situations, be it verbal or physical. If he could not simply take it or be allowed it, then he would force his will upon those that stood between he and it. Vadik, today, was that thing.
There was little he could do, though, when Vadik came charging. Despite his rather horrid excuse for a face, he was still entirely capable of displaying such bouts of speed. It would seem, at least, that he ended to dive for Tesseract's throat, a sure fire way to put any battle to an end. Instinctively, he lowered his head over his throat, bracing himself to the best of his ability, dispersing his weight rather awkwardly. Nonetheless, he had the intention of shoving his neck down at the last moment to force Vadik's jaws onto his scruff. Had it been so, perhaps it would have been an easy way for him to grab his adversary's throat. Vadik, the sneak that he was seemed to have other plans.
Suddenly, it seemed as if he had fallen, sliding forward with momentum. The glint of teeth, however, informed him that this was no mere luck on his behalf. It was an orchestrated attempt. With a snarl, Tesseract shoved his knee down, attempting to force it into Vadik's mouth rather than allow him the tender flesh of one's underside. If he could do, he'd continue to sink his back end down, forcing the solid bone of his knee further and further into Vadik's mouth, using his weight against the other male. Eventually, he would either choke or perhaps feel his jaw pop, giving in as it was forced open beyond its limits. He didn't need to do much else, not really. Whereas their was a distinct burn from the other's teeth grazing the flesh, there would soon be a point where no amount of counteracting force could close those jaws.
"Yield now."
A demand, not a simple request. Until Vadik either squirmed his way out of it or indicated his submission, Tesseract would continue on his journey to dislocating that feisty little mouth of his.
