Zhenya wished for him to show her everything and so he kept walking silently feeling relieved that she was by his side. Lately he had been quite busy trying to build a home here in the forest and even pick up the slack for Jabberwocky whom he hadn’t seen in a while. He wondered if his partner in ruling the Forest had left and the concern made him feel anxious. Lyden held a great deal of respect for the ebony stallion and his kindness changed our pale man in ways that he just simply could not voice out although once he saw him again he felt the need to express his feelings

Flipping his ears back when Zhenya spoke about the other herd mares as he led her up through the mild incline into the pines Lyden breathed out moving quickly to the trail that would open up. ” currently I have five mares with me, six with you. They all are friendly and most of them are making a huge effort into getting to know one another” he fell silent for a little while as the trail finally began to open up once they cut through some thick brush.

There ahead of them were a few willow trees lazily scattered through an open valley area that offered long lush grass. In the far right end from where they came was a lake that settled right underneath two willows – sort of like in the middle. ”I’m sorry dear, no I don’t believe my girls would gang up on you” he paused in stride with his ears forward looking out across what he felt is his favorite spot. ”this is my absolute favorite place in the forest and it’s the main one. Often my girls will mingle here because it’s open for sunlight and close to water and the dark embrace of the pines surrounding them in case they must hide” looking over at the pride driven mare Lyden sighed ”the forest isn’t perfect and If you stay there are no rules aside from don’t get pregnant from another man intentionally, if you want to leave just let me know, I will never force you or anyone else to stay here”
