Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Spring meant an entirely different thing for the Triarii, for her it meant work. This season would give rise to two mothers, both of which seemed to not need her much during their pregmancies, something that the navy eyed female was both grateful and on edge about. Her white frame moves with practiced ease across the narrow straight that seperates her island from the rest of the territory, intent on making rounds to find the dens of the mothers to be.

It does not take long to realize that more than sea salt is in the air, making the leggy female jog to the source of the metallic scent, though she is careful not to come too close to the den. A small announcing bark is made as she sets supplies down, her pouch made from the bladder of a seal pup, made to carry her medical equipment.

"Please pardon my intrusion, and congratilations on your litter, but would it be alright for me to conduct a check up to ensure the pups and the mother's health and well being?"

She asks this in a respectful and yet profeasiinal tone, her high feminine voice making her seem more innocent than she already is. She hopes they allow her to check on their wellfare. Riopat makes it a habit to know of everyone's well being, it is not only her role within the pack, but something she genuinely enjoys doing.
