She looked at her nose as he did, blinking her goldenrod glories until he exclaimed that her nose was all good. Her jet black tail wagged behind her when he said so. She wasn't sure what this was all about but...it was good! She was having fun! Even in these few short moments, she had enjoyed this boy's energy and general outlook. No one was like this in her home. This was what she wanted!
The small girl grinned happily as he began to comment on the wolf that was leading the hunt before. Her head tilted slightly, the long russet red hairs of her cheek clashing with the deep black of the rest of her frame. Her own mind wondered by that one girl was so grumpy, and yet, many wolves were like that in her own home land. No one seemed to like fun as much as Siren. But perhaps...this boy likes fun as much as her!
"A lot of adults are grumpy...maybe their parents never let them play..." she said as her golden eyes fell down towards his russet paws on the antlers. She had seen things like it before. In fact, her father collects all sorts of stuff like this! Maybe she would have to show him sometime! Her tail wags as she is up on her paws, yipping happily as he speaks again. Deer thingy? Her father never called it that, but whatever! It didn't matter, it did seem like something that would be fun to chew on it.
It was then the boy went into a bow, and immediately the girl growing lithe and thin followed suit. She made a quick jump forward, her jaws reaching out in an attempt to grab the antlers. She wishes to chew on it, maybe tug on it! She would make a few attempts at snapping at it, giggling the whole time with nothing but blissful innocence on her face. It didn't seem to be a competition with him. It seemed to just be...fun, and Siren liked that more than anything!
She knew she had to keep him around. She had to be friends with him. How could she not be friends with him? He made her happy and smile! Her black paws reached out playfully, and her heart sung as she felt free of the cage of responsibility and the need to prove herself. Yes, she would keep this friend, and do what it takes to make him happy. |
