Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

"I'm going out there."

She proudly announced it, standing before her siblings with her chest puffed out and her eyes alight with a wicked fire. She flashed them a challenging grin, the fur along her spine bristling as she glanced to Los, an unspoken are you going to stop me? She doubted it. They had to be curious too, right?

"Really out there."

They'd been permitted outside before, sure, but it was hardly an adventure. It was more like giving them a nibble of something delicious before eating it all right in front of them. Sure, look at the big exciting world but uh uh, no touching it. That was boring, that was drab and it was just all together an awful, negligent decision on her parents' behalves. She had to see it all just like they had to allow it. So today she would take matters into her own paws and free herself from the stinky, dark confines of their tiny little world and take on the larger one. Even if her siblings tried to stop her, she'd put them on their backs and be done with it. To the outside world she went!

She went with a final huff, clambering from the den's mouth as she quickly surveyed the area for potential risks - mother and, uh, mother. When the coast was clear, she was off like a wobbly, awkwardly paced bullet. Though she liked to imagine her legs were as strong as any other's and she was as graceful as the most royal of queens, she was a little less than that currently. Nonetheless, the look of utmost determination was enough to detract anybody from that little misdemeanor. Over the sand and over the grass, she charged for nowhere in particular, a wild little cackle bursting out of her as she broke the barrier - the permitted area. She'd done it! She'd broken the barrier into the real world and yet, it hardly seemed all that much different.

She huffed, coming to a halt as she swung her head back to look back to the den. So, had they decided to show her their brave or were they going to be good children? Where was the fun in that? Were there even any other children for her to terrorize? Exploring would be fun with or without them! Besides, she made the fun.
