Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Moving so fast I’m forgetting my purpose

He had returned her embrace but had clearly been unpleased when her teeth had torn holes into his perfected pelt, a warning growl rumbling in his chest but it had not ceased her actions. Only when she had pulled blood from his skin did she release her grip upon him, backing up. Then she had spoken words of pain and guilted him and he had played into her drama. Oh Shae, my darling sister. It is clear that I have not missed you as much as you have me. For you are hurt by my words, but I couldn’t care less about yours. The ess’ orbs grew hard and strong, cold even. It was not the roll of the siblings to aim words of hurt or uncaring to her – she was the one that was supposed to be adored. The one everyone was devoted to. The one who eased the peace… or else consequences would soon come nigh. She was not to be reckoned with, for behind her was the strength of their father and all of his warriors. Her word was not to be ignored. Backing up, she had flicked her tail, a growl coming from her own throat which merely made her brother laugh. Elevating her lips, she released her daggers which he quickly mimicked as soon as she brought up the one who had sent her. Most saw her as his errand boy. His page. His servant. His slave. But she guarded her position within the family carefully, for not only was her position a prized one, having the ability and free will to pick her own mate, but without her, the future was not secure. Hers would be the heir, and so she was needed. Of course, that would only last as long as she made herself useful. They had others that they could rely to make heirs should she mysteriously disappear…

Perhaps it had been cruel of her to bring up him, but his months away from their father’s kingdom had allowed him to forget his father’s reach. It had made him cocky and invincible… or so he thought. Now reminded of his current position, he sat quietly and properly, listening to her… until their darling marooned brother had been mentioned. Harries had jumped to his feet, piloerection raising his hackles. How dare you speak his name to me, Shae. It makes me sick! His vocals were full of disgust and hate, but she simply continued to speak, her own words quiet and soft and knowing. She giggled in inappropriate places, innocently speaking her thoughts and the words that her father had sent her to deliver. Harries laughed once more but it was short-lived. Shae circled him and enjoyed his eyes upon her, watching her much as prey would watch a predator. Or at least, that was how she viewed it… and that was when she had become honest with him, her eyes betraying her worry for him. He remained stoic but she knew him. Once Akuji had been mentioned, a rage would burn for an era inside of Harries, not to be extinguished until his… shall we say ‘distasteful’ choice in hobbies had soothed him.

And then she threw him a line. A tidbit of information, enough to give him certain ideas. Your plan sounds flawless Shae, I’m sure Father will be proud of you. Go capture your bird and keep him in a cage. I’m sure he will love you forever – or will it be he had no other choice. Shae softened and smiled, giggling once more, not allowing his words to bother her at all though he probably meant them to injure him. “Brutes are just that, brother. Brutes. They never have any choice other than to love me, but that does not mean they do not enjoy it. Thank Father that you have at least half a head upon your shoulders. Although if I were you I would send a pureblood offspring home. Soon.” Her last words had an edge to them, a rehash back to their previous discussion. Shae’s presence would calm their father for now… but his desire for new DNA in their pack needed to be sated.

You have my word that I will not interact with Akuji. I will keep the secret safe within my heart and avoid Cold Summers. If fact, I don’t even believe I know where the pack rests. Lids narrowed and she glared at him. “Should you choose to not heed my warning, you should dig your own grave first. It will save me the trouble of finding another to dig it for you.” Instantly, her façade soften and she smile at him, leaping at him to embrace him before tugging upon his ear playfully. “So tell me, my dearest. How are your fares as of late? Any worth mentioning?
