She had been as quick as she could be, scattering from the woods towards the mountain all while attempting to shield the small child from the cold and the winds. She cut as close to Taviora as she could, using their wood land as a means to avoid the weather and soon enough, she found herself once more at the base of her home. Though she had left with significantly different intentions, she returned with a life time's amount of responsibility. He was so small, so cold and alone when she had found him - how could she have said no? It was unthinkable but now, she felt the familiar bite of nervousness within her stomach. She had been so sure of Pan's acceptance - or hopeful, at least - but what of Purge's?

Nonetheless, she trod across the borders, quickly making her way towards her den without hesitation. It'd be warm there, and it would give her time to speak with both Purge and Pan, or so she hoped at least. He would need to feed again soon, after all. She whined between her teeth as she moved across the mountains' flat, fast coming to her den's mouth as she lowered herself into its confines. Galileo and Pandora were already there, of course, sleeping contentedly in the residual warmth. Slowly, she lowered the pale boy between them, nudging them gently so that they might roll closer to him, giving him the warmth he desperately needed. He was safe for now, at least.

With a final smile down at the trio, she spun on her heels and moved away some distance, calling for the others with a sharp howl. She hoped not to awaken the children: it'd be best, she thought, for them to remain quiet for some time while she confirmed their safety. Or his safety, at least. Surely, surely they could not turn him away.
