At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Something was wrong in her home, though Loli could not exactly pinpoint what at this point in time; then, wasn't something always going wrong for them these days? For the briefest of seconds, she wistfully lingered on memories of Axel's reign, when everything had been more simple, straightforward; but those days were gone now, slipping away from them as the previous King's life force had. In his place, his offspring had risen, and considering the odds stacked against them, the dappled femme could not be more proud. She had not seen Caspian nor Sophie recently, and had guessed that the thing keeping them occupied was in fact more heirs; Odessa she saw frequently, never failing to take the time to consult and comfort her long-time friend. Lolita couldn't keep the smallest of smiles off her palette; everything had this habit of changing against their wishes, but the bonds between them remained strong. Currently, the dappled vixen was heading towards Staircase Falls, eager to wash the blood of the latest kill from her paws before it clung to her coat and became a bastard to remove. Her shoulders slumped in a rare display of exhaustion -not that any other eyes would ever see such an admission from her- and she wearily moved herself onwards, amber stargazers scanning the area for potential threats. It was around this time she heard a string of curses emerge from where she had been about to go, and she paused, auds perking up. Moving forward more cautiously this time, what Lolita saw nearly made her laugh out loud; if she didn't know better, she could've sworn in front of her vision was a carbon copy of Lycaon. Wolves throwing fits had never phased her, and so Loli sat back on her haunches, deciding to just enjoy the show instead of attempting to interfere. Once she thought he was done, she called out across the space she had left between them, with the slightest of mocking undertones. "Well, that tree won't be hurting anyone now, will it?" The lean femme fatale grinned, casually wrapping her banner around her paws. Fixing her gaze upon the beast, she tilted her cranium to the side, leaving that to sink in before continuing, "Do you always pick fights with inanimate objects, or was that little show just for my benefit? If so, I'm charmed." Sass rolling off her tongue, she followed up with yet another little grin, unafraid of the male as per usual. this is how I walk. "this is how i talk."
