PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

days are coming she will never forget

Satitba had heard hooves coming down towards her. It had come from the upper slopes and so she had been relaxed. Turning to face the other mare, she was rather surprised. Satitba knew her mother’s breed when she saw one, but she was not familiar with them besides Dia. The black mare was older, far older. Satitba could not be certain how much but this was a mare who carried herself with experience. And she certainly knew her way around the mountain even though the perlino had not seen her before.

Satitba can feel eyes on her just as she analyzes the other mare. She shifts her position a bit. Although Impa and Imp carry the same markings, she has always privately found her spots to be embarrassing. She offers Black Heart Machine a smile. This mare was not unpleasant it seemed.

“Nahce ta meet-ya,” Satitba greeted. She’d never heard of such a long name before. “Ah’m Sha’hiba. Are ya knew ‘er some’m? Ah haven’ seen ya round.” She thought deeper. “An’ da ya ‘ave a preferred shorta name? Nod dat yer full name ain’t loveleh er anydin’.” Black Heart Machine was just a rather large mouthful. Satitba wondered what kind of parent gave their child three names. It was a strange thing.
