A pirate flag and an Island Girl -Gandy-

Pale ears flicker back and forth, unsure if she should lace them into her alabaster mane or not. She had become frustrated with Gandy, her words that she threw at her as if she had not a feeling. Yes she had been defiant, but she was doing what she thought was better for the herd as a whole. But Gandy had not even considered a word and continued with the hard headedness that it seemed she carried with her all of the time. So for the moment Cae had to listen to the buckskin, after all this was her home, and she was deciding what was best. Distrust was one of the many feelings she felt towards the buckskin, maybe it was because she was Lyden's favorite? Or maybe it was because of her unfriendliness. The only soothing words that reached her ears were that of Lyden, he did want her here, even calling her sweet cae. A warm feeling washes over her as she reaches her muzzle towards his shoulder as he passed. She did not want to see him leave, even watching his fading form as he wandered into the trees. A hole begins to eat at her insides, he had left, but at least he was heading back to the herd to insure they were safe.

Ripping her cerulean eyes away from the forest where he had disappeared they settle on Gandy. " It is settled than, lead me to this clearing, so that I may join the herd." Irritation written across her face, she so desperately wanted to be at Lyden's side. They had been separated, went through so much in the last few days. Limping forward she follows Gandy as she leads the way into the clearing that she spoke of. Each step is not as painful as they had been a few moments before. As they enter the clearing, a bit of relief washes over her, but she doesn't drop her guard towards Gandy. Halting in the clearing she gazes around taking in the trees that surrounded them, she had always had a fascination with trees. Their towering limbs, and the relief they offered on sweltering summer days.

"What do you want me to do?" Unsure of how she should react. Cae reaches her mouth towards the few scratches on her front fores, licking each wound. Soothing the heat that had built up in the tiny abrasions. Lifting her head, she finds her eyes settling on the foal once again. Someday she would have a foal of her own, curiously she wonders what her foal would look like. Maybe he or she would have her alabaster coat? Or perhaps if it happened like that, maybe Lydens? Wasn't that they way these relationships ended up? Her baring his child? Questions, hopefully some day they would be answered. Shaking her alabaster head, she finds her gaze falling on Gandy once again. Waiting.
