I knead my claws info the earth below, my eyes almost seeming embarrassed. I steadied my gaze, glancing back up at her to nod in agreement.
My eyes, one seemingly bright and lively and the other stern. The bright green eye was curious, questioning almost. In contrast, the blue eye sternly stared, although it was also questioning, it was protecting secrets of a dark past.
As I was staring at the ground, I noticed that she was no longer smiling. I tilted my head, blinking in confusion before shuffling closer to the intoxicating fem- I mean, uh, the female before me. Before I could stop myself, I laid at her side and bumped my nose against her muzzle. An unfamiliar heat rose to my cheeks, dusting the exposed skin a faint red.
I swallowed thickly before shimmying closer yet, the dappled grey side of my pelt brushing against hers. Since I was facing her, I ducked my head as my blush worsens, doing my best to hide it.
