I don't have a dog in this fight and was going to stay out of it until someone said trolling was boring??? and anybody can catch fish like that???
Nonsense I say!
Trolling done correctly is the best way to locate fish there is. It's also work because you have to pay attention all the time to what your lure is doing. It will tell you what the bottom is. Contour hard soft etc.
May I suggest that those who like to troll get a book by Buck Perry titled: Spoonplugging Your Guide To Lunker Catches from BuckPerry.com. It's a primer on a way of fishing that few know of and very effective IF you do what he says.
