A pirate flag and
The Lost Islands

A pirate flag and an island girl

And I traded it in for a whole 'nother world
A pirate flag and an island girl

A sigh escapes her pale lips as the pain was beginning to ease its way out of her abrasions. Cae had quickly learned her lesson about trying to travel over sharp rocks, pick your way, young filly. Rushing over the pointed edges would only insure that one slip would slice your thin hide right open. Her tongue sought out her wounds, licking the pain away. As Gandy begins to clean her wounds, Cae feels uncomfortable with the buckskin mare's touch. She could sense that Gandy was trying her best to be careful, which she appreciated.

As the minutes slipped away, so did Cae's thoughts. Wandering amongst the trees that bordered this little clearing, galloping back to the ocean's edge. The ocean called to her with each crash of the waves on the sandy shores, they were one. A bit of pain seers up her leg, pinning her ears and clinching her teeth she fights the urge to let out a cry. Biting her lip, she turns her delicate head away from Gandy, she would not let the mare see her pain. At least the mare was trying to be as gentle as she could.

Cerulean eyes find Gandy once again, her gaze passing over the buckskin mare. She was a pretty little thing, Cae was curious of how her and Lyden had met, but she sure wasn't going to ask. A silly question, and they weren't exactly at a sleep over. Tossing her delicate head at the thought, she begins to move impatiently. The pain had almost completely dissipated, and she was ready to move away from the clearing.

"Thanks." Was the only word that she muttered, Cae did not like relying on other horses to take care of her. Especially one who so clearly did not approve her being here in the Forest. Her cerulean eyes scan the trees that surrounded them, hoping just slightly that Lyden was waiting for her on the other side. She had hardly spoken a word to him since a few weeks ago. She knew that she had dragged Lyden and his whole herd into this mess. She knew that it would all be worth it in the end.
