News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

I cry out for magic – see it floating in the air
But it's fear - and you'll hear
It calling you ...beware

It seems that Lavender would be tardy to this meeting. Several moments pass as Pan and I set and await the female's arrival, and when she makes no appearance, my ears flick in slight annoyance but nothing more. We could not wait all day for the girl. My eyes flick to Pan, and I am pressed to begin the discussion without her. As I speak my views, Pan listens in rapt attention. Little did I know his train of thought, but if I had I would have come to the conclusion that the male has vastly under-estimated my abilities. True enough, I have never acted in the stead of an adviser, but it seems he forgets we are of the same age, have both been witness to the golden age of Old Moladian just before it's destruction in a maelstrom of Fire. And that we have both seen the fortitudes of the new packs rise once again from the ashes in it's wake.

As part of my Gypsy Caravan, I'd had the pleasure of traveling across all the vast lands of Moladian... more welcomed by most of the packs then other rogues and vagabonds. I've seen much of each pack's unique culture, save for Iromar, and have come to learn much of their leaders and those of the past. We each had traits and skills to bring to the proverbial table. Pan was undoubtedly a highly intellectual, analytical man. He had superb smarts to be certain, but his confidence bordered on arrogance, his personality seeming dead-set in the illusion that he was simply better than the rest. And perhaps, that haughty aptitude was the singular imperfection in his seemingly perfect nature. Aside from that, I have come to realize the golden male's loyalties lie with whomever is in power at the time, rather than to any one individual. I do not forget how quickly his advisory skills transitioned from one leader to another, offering his fealty to Purge as quickly as he had to my mother and Snowshoe. It was his doing, that brought Purge to offer some burial tribute to my Parents, a false homage to their genuine Greatness. Offering her the right tools and words to buy some of the pack's loyalty and paint the usurper in a false light. It was a means to his own ends, to help Purge with her ambitions. Were these actions something an Honorable wolf would do? For indeed, we mountain wolves harbored Honor above nearly all else aside from Family.

In my eyes, it seemed to be that he didn't care who held the throne, so long as he was capable of keeping the title he thinks himself so perfect for. What then, would happen should another Usurper come knocking on Daenerys' door? Could Pan's intelligence be bought? Bribed? If he thought another challenger was of greater strength or leadership capabilities would he turn away from my sister Queen...? His manner of thinking includes strategy and cunning, and indeed some manner of deviance. It makes me question how steadfast he would be, and just how deeply he could be relied upon as the Queens most trusted of her councilors. But I cannot pass judgement upon him. It is not my place to do so, and indeed, I believed in the end Danaerys would make the most suitable choice for her needs. I listen to what he has to say, for his words ring strong with truth and linear thinking, for the moment.

I nod in agreement. Purge might have high hopes, but without the right drive any forces she begets would surely crumble with a quickness. But does that mean she should go unpunished for her crimes? I am not a vengeful beast, but I do believe in Justice, and Purge has so carelessly seen to the demise of my parents- whether or not it was intended- and then just as quickly let the pack fall asunder, over and over again. It had all been for naught, really... and to know my parents died needlessly was a travesty in it's own Right. Pan spoke of diagrams, and I am pulled from my thoughts as his paws work the earth.

A brow is quirked as he scrutinizes my visualization skills, a wry smirk pulling the corners of my lips. "I assure you pan, my imaginative skills are quite fine. I guess I was just confused for a moment... I thought you said a chart, where this is clearly a Map. These seem like strategies for War, where I was of the impression we were discussing what was to be done with Purge. I think Lady Daenerys wishes to know our thoughts as to whether we should have Purge and Skully incarcerated and punished, trailed and watched or left forgotten for their crimes... These things you speak of follow more closely along the lines of Alliance tactics, which will more likely happen regardless of our course of action against Purge and Skully, though no doubt I understand they go paw-in-paw."

I look over his map rather impressed with his alliance tact all the same. "I do agree, however that Iromar is a pack to be wary of, however there is a saying- Keep your friends close, and your Enemies Closer. If we do not offer our allegiances to them then they will most definitely feel slighted and insulted. Risk of double-crossing or not, it would be better to offer a truce at least, than giving them reason to deem us enemies from the get-go. If they break the treaty then that is one thing, but to single them out as enemies is quite another. As for Purge, I think we could certainly keep her from challenging again... for a time at least. Especially if we were to apprehend her as our captive. Even Skully, taken into custody could be used as a bargaining chip against her, to ensure that she will not plot against us in the future. Though I have recently seen Skully in Iromar seeking friends... which would not bode well if we attempted to take him from them."
There's no sign of the morning coming
You've been left on your own
Like a Rainbow in the Dark
