Delicate nostrils quiver as the scent of the wildflowers caress her senses, its sweet scent washing over her. Closing caramel eyes, she enjoys the breeze that found the pair of horses, its fingers tossing her blond tresses. A cool relief after their frolic through the woods, leaping over fallen logs and dodging the forest's trees. Opening her caramel eyes, she finds the gaze of the painted stud colt trained on her. A smile touches her dark lips, his innocence written across his face. He stared for a moment too long, and she begin to wonder of the things that crossed his mind. He was younger, almost the same age as her youngest brother. A tinge of pain stabs at her heart at the thought of her family that she had left behind.
