Water dripped from his chin as pale lips quivered when being forced from the cool lake water into the shade. Sunlight surrounded the pale brute and as the breeze made his entire body shiver he side stepped into the direct sunlight feeling his skin relax with the warmth. Lyden as he waited dropped his head to graze idly constantly flicking his tail against his hind legs to rid of the horseflies that constantly tried to lay their yellow eggs on the bottom of his limbs. Lifting his hindleg to kick out in agitation Lyden lifted his head just in time to hear auriela call to him which caused his auditives to flip back and forward as skyblues found her dark from heading towards him

Once the beauty got close enough to him Lyden offered his nose to her taking in her scent that for a long while just simply drifted with the wind. His thoughts wandered wondering if she would be a shadow mare disappearing like a ghost whenever she felt the need. The thought made him frown for Lyden would not have his herd act like strangers- they were a family whether they liked one another or not. ”it feels strange to have you here in the forest all this time and just now finally speaking with you” a pause is taken ”is there a reason you stay away from the herd as much as I’ve seen?
