Watched a mountain lion stroll in my back yard 7-2-2014. It was broadside and only 50 feet away. Reddish brown, long swooping tail. Let out a cry as it faced us. Two nights before also was in the yard for 10 minutes emitting scary cries. Neighbors reported kittens under our shed. No domestic cats around, could it have babies here?

Game warden said I couldn't have seen a mountain lion, but I wasn't alone and both agree to what we saw. It was walking calmly and then stopped so had a real good look.
