Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

The little creature was a being made to be great in power and not terrible at speed though certainly not faster than the brute that now fought him. However it wasn’t the grey brute he wanted. Not unless the other was firmly out of his grasp at least. Seir wasn’t picky on which he ate. The larger simply would be harder to kill. He felt his pointed fangs dig into the flesh. Seir’s bloodlust grew the tinge of blood from the other on his tongue and it fueled his hunger and desire to find food in one of the two wolves now more than ever. So close. He was shoved off and Seir watched as the smaller target began to run. No. He would not let him.

The grey one attacked and Seir felt the sting as the brute grazed the skin of his scruff but didn’t care. His target was the smaller one. He was larger and thus faster for the time being compared to the child and let out a vicious snap towards his back leg and twisted his head as to either break or at the very least heavily lacerate the appendage. He would keep his prey from running away at the very least. If he was forced to deal with the other brute so be it, but his true prey would not be leaving today. He could not speak their language well, but it sounded like the old one was wishing the young one to escape. It would take a lot more than a small broken down wolf to stop him from what he was wanting to take.

Seir was so driven by his hunger by his very will to eat and the pain that tinged his scruff only fueled him even more to make sure he could have a meal this day. His stomach growled but it was covered by the little monsters own snarls as he either hit or missed his fleeing target. The handsome boy let his red muzzle lash out attempting to mangle the back leg of the boy and it was best the grey wolf not get involved less he have more flesh torn from him. Though Seir was thinking he could probably make a double meal out of this, mayhaps even give one as a peace offering to the shadow that hated him. Perhaps if he could show his worth he could again be with his white protector and the shadow once more. Hunting back in those days was always easier and now he would prove he would be fine with or without them.
