Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

On most days she found herself lingering in the darkened depths of Iromar. Really with Nakki’s disappearance she had no place in the moorland she had met one other in the forsaken swamp who didn’t seem to outwardly reject her company and yet since he had left for his task she had seen so little of Naberious. Once in the grotto she had managed to share his company but it was many moons ago. Her loneliness left a void but with each loss she grew to draw deeper into herself, but she was determined today. She would leave Iromar to see new things have an adventure. She needed an outlet for her playful spirit. She bound rather cheerfully towards the woodland. It was a spot almost as dark as home, and much like home she easily finds the smoothest path to tread.

Before she realizes what she is doing she wonders to a place thick with the heavy metallic musk. Her ears quickly fall as she searches for other predators who could just as well turn on her. Her eyes fall on the near barren carouse of a young puma a few avian predators where easily driven off giving her free access to the remnants of flesh and bone. A scent accompanied that of a familiar companion; could Naberius really have taken the life of the big cat? Perhaps but a large rival could have also. Her muzzle lowers to the ground light limbs drawing her forward aiming for a definite direction in which he travled.

She was almost certain he went this way… well, really it was just a game of risk and reward. The risk wasting the day on a hunch and the reward of companionship. Really, it was a small price for the girl to pay. The sweet scent of water was about, fresh and inviting. She had to admit she wouldn’t mind quenching her thirst. She wandered a little of the trail making her way to the spring side quickly beginning to drink. Rest, she thought to herself; the hunt could begin later after all.
