Time had not been fairly kind with Malum as of late. It had slipped away from him altogether, actually. The very core of his soul ached for the his star-eyed goddess and yet he has been duty bound since the day he had initiated a request for a higher rank to Andras. It was only now that he had a moment to slip away from the confines of the moorland and into the outskirts of the territory in hopes that he would be able to run across either of the two particularly interesting ladies.

Dessa proved to be more than what he had first assumed and he would not be too surprised if he were to find her lurking around the border once again. Yet there was no trace of the earthen colored ravine dweller and even less hope remained to spot the ethereal figure of Elara anywhere near Iromar. And so he was left to his lonesome thoughts as he traveled in an easy jog along the outer rim.

Very little thought had been given to the fact of what Andras or any of the others may believe if they were to discover that his imprint is with one who dwells among angels. Little was he aware that she descended directly from the line. Would they be just as shocked as if it were their own blood or did it matter very little if it were not of one from the coveted black and blood lineage? Elara's own blood never mattered to the pale hued inccubi from their very first encounter, though he was well aware that his own nefarious lineage would do no good to intermingle with her own, if she were to ever accept him in such a way.

Though that was a preposterous idea and he quickly shook it from his brain physically and mentally. He was still so young, not even at full maturity yet, and somehow he had expected some form of a relationship to blossom from an age-old plan bestowed upon the both of them by nothing less than the hands of destiny itself. The beautiful girl may feel the same pull toward the swamp-born male and yet he cannot expect her to have any true feelings toward him. She is simply being driven by the insatiable need from her soul - a vastly different thing than from the heart and mind itself. The soul is capable of controlling many things and fooling even the wisest of them all.
