News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

Vainglory

I have a hole in my heart;; Ruvindra & Paldor

Well, this was exciting. Not really, Vainglory moved with a silken ease around puddles and debris that could get caught in his fur, he was a pristine white, perfect from every angle no matter how you looked at him, he was the handsomest of the litter and he would stay that way for the rest of his life. He left Andras hovel of a den, definitely needed to get a new interior decorator in that place... but his own choice. Andras told Vain that he would need to speak with his father about taking over the throne of Auspex. Already he had dreamed and he wasn't even half as bat-crazy as his father and brother. Wraith seems to be taking on a more Paldor-esq appearance and though Vain had always known that something would happen between the two of them he was more appalled by Wraiths decision to join the ranks of the Tavorians, so unbefitting of him. Vain did not think himself one of the demons, he just thought of himself as another spirit, a ghost so to speak. A damn sexy ghost too!

He made his way towards his parents den, knowing that Ruvindra would probably be coddling his father right about now, his pale white and lavender eyes roll slightly as he looks up to the sky as if to ask for some god to make it so that his family didn't look like such pansies. Whatever the case, even with picking his way through the land he made it in easy time to their den. He didn't even bother to cough, or make any motion that he was there other than to stick his handsome white head into the den. "Father," he says and looks upon the two of them in the den. "Since Wraith is in Tavoria and Istas is off being a flower. I'd like to take up the reigns of Auspex." Plain, simple and to the point. Also, point out that the other two were useless and that Vain was the obvious choice to take up the rank.

Paldor looked over at Ruvindra, he nuzzled her neck and let a yawn release from his lips. He'd known that the time would come when he must decide which of his boys would take up the rank he had obtained some years ago. The other day he'd had his last dream, the three boys stood before him and only two remained by the end of the dream. A novice would have thought it meant that Istas would die soon. But Paldor knew better than that and so he had gone to find Wraith within Tavoria. With a girl. A very nosey girl at that. It had rankled him that such a cherished family history was to be shared with a commoner. But whatever, Wraith was his own man now. If he didn't want to come to Iromar for training that was his problem not Paldor's "he's finally grown a bit of a backbone though," he continued on. He'd been telling Ruvindra all about the days events. Even about the odd girl. And the odder way in which Wraith had been talking. "Though... he needs to be re-trained. I feel Tavoria has let him slip. He spoke well when he was here right?" it had been how long since the boys had all taken their own paths in life? three years? it couldn't have been to much longer than that but the whole poppy situation made him feel as if he'd lost years and years with his children.

There is a noise outside the den then, his head turns easily on it's axis point and looks out at the long white legs of one of his sons. Judging from the lack of fluff, and dirt.... it was Vainglory. Come to obtain what was rightfully his. Paldor was entreated with his title in his son's voice. "Do you now. Well isn't that a funny thing," he said with a smile as he turned to nuzzle Ruvindra again and then got up on stiff joints to exit the den. Perhaps she would follow, perhaps she would not. He did not push her to do what she did not wish to do. As he left the den he stares face to face with a cleaner version of himself. Slim but well muscled thanks to Ruvindra, his fur was cleaner than normal "you've been to see Andras I presume?" Vain gave a nod of his head, "he wished me to confront you and tell you of such a thing. I had a vision of his son, so I went to him and told him of it." Pal nodded in return "did he receive it in good spirits?" he asked, mostly out of curiosity. From past experience the first vision was never a good one, was the son of Andras doomed to death? "I do not believe so, it seems his son has imprinted upon a non-demon" Vain let loose a soft chuckle at the thought.

Vain had no need for a mate or an imprint, he would stay as far away from those big gatherings if he could help it, Vain didn't care if his woman was a demon or a ghost like himself. Perhaps she would be multi-hued. Whatever the case, none of the girls he had met to date had been good enough for him and that's all that mattered to him right now. "I dare say that did not go over well, well. If this dream you had was true, then I don't see any reason why you can not have my position. If Andras has told you to come to me, then I see no problem at all. What do you think my dear? Our son, the Auspex. I think I like that title. Besides, I can no longer dream, so I think I shall now enjoy my retirement with your mother much better. If you have need of us, you know where to find us." Paldor was relieved that he wouldn't have to tell Vain what he'd seen in his last dream. Now on to better things in life, like sleeping in!

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
