The brute had returned from his meeting with his king. Something was wrong. He did not know what but something was wrong and he didn’t have a single damn idea how to go about fixing it. How could he try and help when Kershov was so clearly trying to hide it? It was not like he could just blurt out that Ker was acting funny and he wanted to know what was up. If the king wanted to share things with Grey Wind then he would, otherwise the brute would not press his alpha for information. That would just be foolish and likely to get him hurt in the very least. He was not exactly afraid of Ker, but he knew if it came to it that the brute could hurt him if he really wanted. And the twisted and messed up thing was that Grey Wind would let him. The large grey brute would let his king do anything with him, would do anything for him. And he was pretty sure that Kershov knew that about him. The brute padded silently, brooding, as these thoughts swam through his mind. He felt helpless and that was something that he didn’t know how to deal with that. He had never felt helpless like this, never in his life. The brute was not perfect, far from it, and he knew that; but helpless was something that he was not. Something that he never would be. He would find a way to help the king, his king, even if it killed him.
The grey titan was torn from his thoughts by a foreign scent upon the borders. He was not far from whatever being had brought itself to Abendrots borders. It always seemed that he was doing border patrols when he was thinking and whenever he was deep in thought some miserable being decided to choose that time to show up for somewhere to stay, for a home. The brute was not in the mood to deal with stupid miserable lupines so he hoped that this one would appear to be worthy to join the ranks of Abendrot, or he may not have the patience to deal with the animal kindly. His form weaved easily through the trees, the place now truly his home, knowing where every rock and branch was located at this point. He was a little too high strung to properly deal with anything right now so he loped around the trees at a faster pace than necessary, taking an unnecessarily long way to the spot that he could smell the stranger from. The brute worked off some of his pent off energy, feeling his annoyance becoming less, becoming calmer as he body began to sweat from the heat. He breathed heavily, calming himself as he now headed in the direction of the lupine that was waiting for someone to greet them.
The brute’s form slowed as he approached the borders, inhaling deeply to see if Ker or anyone else had already come to see this newcomer. No familiar scents reached his nares and so he pressed on, pushing his powerful form through the trees to see the unique bodice of a female waiting, sitting, patiently. Grey Wind took a moment to look over her unique form, the black stripes that lined her back in such an interesting fashion on her white pelt with blue orbs looking out. What the brute was not expecting to find was a beautifully young female waiting at the borders of this pack, but he was happy to find her here. Hopefully she was not all looks and could actually be useful and offer something to this pack, otherwise, despite her beauty, she would not be accepted here. He approached her in silence, not ashamed of his wandering eyes over her bodice, not caring if she saw. In fact he wanted her to see, let her think whatever she liked of his gaze that was bordering on lust towards her form. ”Hello, he spoke softly at her as he stood a few feet from her, not letting his guard down for a second just because of a pretty face. ”My name is Grey Wind. Captain of Soldiers here. Name and business if you please.” he purred at the female, his yellow orbs bearing into hers, waiting to see how she would respond.
"Fight back,"He snarled.
