The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Sinister
Everyone has one;

The maned colored boy moved with silent paws through moladion. This was his first exploration of this new world and it intrigued him. No lie. Where he came from the lands were bare and what water there was it was little but hey it allowed the brute's body to build up a way to survive with little water. Also he worked up to get use to intense heat. There was little shade and usually once you found shade it was inaccessible due to others claiming it for there own. Never bothered Sinister before. Somewhat huge, well bigger than average wolves of his breed, angled forward listening to the different sounds. Ahh what a beautiful scene this is.

Sinister had past by the big packs and considered knocking on their doorstepd but thought otherwise of it and kept going. He didn't feel like settling down and being in a big group at all. Okay little groups were fine but bigger gatherings freaked the autumn colored boy. As he passed by the large caverns keeping to the trees as not to run into any others, the rain suddenly began to fall down from the sky in buckets. The droplets hitting his autumn hued pelt with force. They stung but it was nothing compared to the wind that kicked up suddenly and tugged at his fur. It felt like someone was trying to literally rip the fur from his skin. Audits pinned in frustration at this weather. The one thing though that really scared the brute was the tornado. He has never personally seen one but he has heard stories. The roar of the tornado is like the sound of a train whistle. Its loud and ear piercing. He could see it starting to form as he lifted his head to the sky. Sinister yipped and dashed off trying to avoid the sticks and tree limbs being picked up and thrown.

The cry of another caught his attention but with the roar of the tornado tearing after him and ripping the trees from the ground, sinister kept running. He had his sights set on making it into one of the caves. He pushed his body faster and when his paws hit the stone and no more rain hit his pelt did he know that he made it out of the storm. Sinister turned and saw two others standing off. One looked rained soaked and injured.

"You guys okay?"
