At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

A steady breeze had been pushed off the lake, it's calm swirls ballooning leaves, ripples, and eventually, small puffy clouds across the world. It smooth it's belly over the lake's grassy banks, and eventually to my paws, beckoning me to sit and bask in the fragrant summer air. My new companions were exchanging their polite greetings, and there was no visible tension in their bodies. We were all here to release our minds to thoughtful meditations, floating in the endless swell of the lake's water.

I couldn't help but smile, my rounded ears swiveling to listen into the other females' litling voices. Their soft words were cautious and gratutious, as if they spoke anywhere above the volume of a mouse, they might set off an explosive reaction. I, myself, understood the need for a hushed greeting. If we were to share each other's company, the need to restict the flouting of allegiences was apparent. I caught the black-stockinged female's greeting at me, and I lifted my ponderous orbs to her face. A few more words, and then I understood her fully.

Hello, Mink.I turned my head to the one who had adressed me first with a calm Hello, miss.

A good day to cool off by the lake, is it not?

I responded with a small twitch of my lips, stepping from the underbrush to pad along the lake's grassy and sandy knoll. Stopping paces away, I sank to my stomach in a murmured sigh, the sweat trapped underneath my arctic coat carried away by the persistant breeze.

I'm Ivev, I added unobtrusively, my attentions focused onto the opulescent surface of the lake. It was an all seeing eye, this lake, with it's eternal iris trained on the sky that brought each turning of the seasons. What had it witnissed, eons ago, before I ever walked this forest? I tilted my head back to the two females briefly, before a sound stirred my audits to shift backwards. Someone was approaching.

I couldn't help but notice the exuberant energy that purveyed from the male's eyes as he announced himself, and then made himself comfortable on the earthen floor. His smile was genuine, and creased his verdant eyes like the crinkling of a golden fall leaf. I didn't move, our triangle's lethargic peace punctured by his presence. Instead I nodded in response.

Hello, Miles.
