He does not have to wait long and for this he is grateful, as the beating of his heart speeds up. She is near, of this he is sure. If it wasn’t for the bond that transcends all rationality, it would be the flock of birds that suddenly take flight. His black feathered companion joining them, leaving behind one glossy feather to fall gracefully upon his upturned snout. Judging by the position of the birds he guesses that his Blossom would be making an appearance to his right. Lowering his head, he has just enough time to brush the feather from his nose and look up when she emerges into view. She is running, yet at a speed that is not at all safe for the soft incline that they are on. Yes, she is grown and more than capable yet he can not help the worry that worms its way into his heart. However, a small smirk does grace the corners of his lips for watching her is to watch pure unadulterated joy. His eyes never miss a thing as she skitters, her delicate paws sending all sorts of loose rocks a rolling. At one point he is tempted to cross over just to catch her for she leaned dangerously close to one side as she takes a bend. Yet he manages to hold his position, webbed eyes focusing on her and only her.
And then she is upon him, her tiny form never once slowing as she collides into his side at full force. Had she been anywhere near the size of other full wolves he might not have been able to withstand it, yet as it was he could easily remain as he was with only the aid of him extending one of his front paws to the side to stabilize himself. He does not have time to get a word in, let alone a lick as she is everywhere. Her tongue leads a solo assault upon his cheeks, and face, forcing him to close his eyes as she begins to bounce upward to reach his ears. The feeling of her wet pink muscle is too much for him though, forcing him to chuckle low before moving quickly to pin her beneath him. Looking down into her face, he beams with joy, loving the way the weight sits upon her haunches and the sparkle that all but leaps from her pink eyes. This was the Ceal he knew and adored.
”My Blossom.”
It was all he says before dipping his head and dragging his tongue across her face, before nuzzling her neck. Pausing he takes a moment to savor the way their scents mingle, now stronger with renewed contact, before trailing tickling nips up her neck and to her own ears. He wants to hear her laugh again, to hear it bubble forth and spill from her lips and know that it was all for him. He has yet to affirm that there was another, so focused was he on her that he is all but content to tickle Ceal until she could not take any more. Yet her voice brings his head up to view the other female, instantly noticing the way her tail is raised and the slight rigidness of her posture. His eyes travel her grey kissed frame, noting her good health and obvious standing. So this must be the sister Ceal raved about, the one who retook the mountain. Another moment passes before he dips his head in respect before moving to allow Ceal to rise if she so wished.
”Daenerys, I have heard much of you. I am Teliran.”
His eyes seeks the pink of Blossom’s when he catches the smile that tugged at Daenerys’ lips. Yes, she was a bundle of energy, sometimes taxing for one as serious as he but he was learning. He was learning to let go and enjoy moments of bliss and that everything did not require extensive analyses. It is a tribute to his age, being so young as he was to adapt.
”How do you handle one of such exuberance?”
He voices as he manages to pull his gaze away from Ceal, her beauty and innocence captivating. He could easily die within those fathomless depths yet somehow he managed to hold on, to fight the tide in hopes of another day with her, another moment beside she who makes his heart beat.
”I seek acceptance into your pack if you will have me. I am young, yet I show skill in hunting and I would like to learn the ways of battle as well.”
He then lifts himself to full height, showcasing his body for her inspection while careful to keep his tail low. He had no problem with authority nor was he particularly prideful. His only duty to himself and Ceal, he was more than happy to allow this wolf to inspect him should she wish, and even roll to expose his belly should she demand. Even still he kept his ears down as a show of respect as well, never quite letting his eyes hold her gaze for long for only a disrespectful wolf would dare challenge an superior in such a way. With that said he awaits her next words while enjoying the tranquil peace of being with Ceal once again.
