sample post - There is something in the way that he looks at them. Something terrifying really that she cannot quite understand. She is still new to this world. Being young enough to realize she's still full of life but old enough to know this world around her is no friend sometimes. She is fresh and free of scars; of fights. There is not a mark on her splashed hide that could give way to knowledge of her having ever known fighting. She is a virgin of it so to say. That is okay though, it was probably nicer for her that way.

Anawar has spoken briefly and she studies him still. The name bouncing from his lips and that as it! Funny and odd all at once. There is nothing more of this stallion to tell them who he is but that name. Nothing about his manners or his ways. Nothing but a simple name. What's in a name though? It merely gives a title to what you can call someone. It doesn't really tell you much about them. That was all right though, Kindred figured they'd learn all about him in due time right? It only made sense if you thought about it.

Meanwhile, Daenerys is speaking again and intently she's listening. The words of her thoughts sweeping off the black and white mare's lips. As though she has read into Kindred's very mind. Of course this isn't so, they are merely thinking so much alike right now that it would be frightening anywhere else. Silence has fallen briefly then and she takes it all in. Contemplating things over hin her head before Daenerys is speaking again. This time how she is sorry for his unwelcoming experience thus yet but that she hoped he'd understand. They were not ready for this. For a new leadership to come in where the old had suddenly abandoned them. How could anyone be ready for this?

Daenerys was moving closer to her then and giving her an expression as though to say Hey! We'll stick together and it will be okay right? Nickering softly to her, Kindred presses in closer. The warmth enveloping them and the touch comforting. They are both relishing in what they can have here as family of the Harbor. Familiar in a sense that they belong here. This newcomer doesn't yet but that could change in time. He'd have to prove himself of course. They always have to prove themselves don't they?

Anawar. The name slips from her lips so easily and yet, it is so foreign. He is foreign of course but the stallion can't help that. It isn't his fault again that he's here taking up where another has left them. No, they cannot readily blame him. And yet, they cannot completely help it. It isn't your fault for the past. It never will be. But you will have to excuse us of being cautious and angry. Not at you but at the situation. This is all so new and scary. It is frightening to realize that you've been abandoned and someone new just comes into the home you've known.

It is an explanation that she hopes he'll understand. It is all that she can give right now. Gently nipping at her companion's neck, she nibbles there. It is to let Daenerys know that she isn't about to leave her. They are kin here and they are bonded if by family of Harbor alone. This might be so new to them but they had one another and she was sure of the friendship that would form of this. Perhaps in time with Anawar too but at least they were not ripping him apart right? They were merely regarding him as he was them.
