I moved from the ocean pack, trying to get as far away from my sisters as possible. Once again they were teaming up on me, but they were still no match. They were so foolish and I grew irritated with their games. I didn't bother them, in fact I could barely stand to be near them, so why did they feel a need to bother me? And of course mother and father didn't see them for what they really were: brats. I was the only one ever punished, so they continued their games and my annoyance grew more and more each day until I hit my breaking point. I may be smaller than them, but I was not someone to be screwed with.

I trotted across the free lands, uncaring of how I would once again be punished for leaving without consenting first. Mother really didn't understand that I was capable of handling myself out in the big bad world. Though I did understand why she felt the way about my wandering, she cared for me, but I wasn't going to be taken from this world sooner than needed; weakness was not one of my many qualities.

I found myself at the riverside, my piercing blue eyes scanning the shore line looking for another. When it was clear no one was around, I wandered forward, finding a warm, sun bathed rock to lay on. I sprawled out, relaxing and putting my sisters far from my mind. I was clean and alone, things couldn't get better at the moment. If only I knew what was about to happen, i'd have picked somewhere else to lay. Peace was always short lived for me it would seem.
