PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

YOU LEFT ME IN THE DARK

IMPAZIENZA

“As I said, whichever you feel suits you best is where you should align yourself,” Impa said. “If you ever change your mind you are more than welcome to announce yourself as a politician or a warrior. You might surprise yourself in the future.” Well did the black mare know how a mare, when pushed to her limits, was capable of more than she ever imagined possible.

Impazienza had never had any ambitions, when she was younger, beyond freeing herself from the rule of stallions and living in the Peak. Yet here she stood as sole leader of the mares who lived on the mountain with her. The thought made her smile a little, although the expression turned wry at Rea’s words. “She is my sister. We were never close when we were young, but we get along fine now.” It was a vague response that answered the question but did not delve into the depths of the complicated relationship between Jezibelle and herself.

“If you would excuse me,” she said, and dipped her head in a courteous nod before she turned away. “Welcome again to the Peak, Rea. I hope you will soon find yourself calling this mountain home.”

[I closed the other thread because it had almost been a month since the last response and quite a bit has happened in Impa's life between Devorea's arrival and now. I'd like her threads to remain current!]
