Indeed little Denali has grown up very much in the last year. No longer the insecure, timid creature of before she met his games head one with clever words and brave actions. With her first words ringing in his ears Enderly chuckles, clearly amused by her words. Such a wily girl she is and clearly has been playing in the marshlands. How strange that she had managed to end up in such a violent place with such violent wolves. It make his memory flicker back to Nakki, the alluring Iromar wolf who had since disapperead from the lands much to his dismay. Maybe if she had stuck around he wouldn't be so stuck on Naamah. "Touche," he murmurs to Denali with a toothy grin. She is fun indeed with her witty words. Already she lifts his spirits, reminding him of what he had been before.
"You must admit though that the smell of the bogs isn't the most pleasant, unless you like such smells." He shrugs nonchalantly as he stalks closer, his eyes eager for their closeness. What has changed about her in the last year? He had met for a brief moment her brother, a creepy male for certain with evil intent. It didn't seem she feared him much anymore and had grown a confidence - and also attached herself. He can smell the rancid scent of another male clinging to her, a possessive mark.
She surprises him as she crowds into him and leaves only an inch or so between them with her gray eyes staring into his daringly. Enderly opens his maw and his breath wafts across her fur before he brushes his nose against hers before pulling back as if to say alright, good job. Lowering his haunches to the ground he curls his tail around his feet and cocks his head. The moment she mentions him being busy, no doubt a comment on the scent of Naamah that lingers simply from being around her cave area, his smile falls and a look of dissension crosses his face so clearly there could be no doubt that the suave Enderly is not himself.
Then he slides a fake smile back on his face and tries to ignore the reminder of his disappointment. "This and that, dear, this and that. Apparently you have been too. Tell me, have you found yourself a mate then? An a demon nonetheless. I didn't think you had it in you for such danger." Now his grin is real once more, wicked and enticing as he squints at her.
