The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

The girl had been musing the times she had run into Grey Wind. He was a rather interesting one, and somebody she could see not annoying the hell out of her constantly as so many others did. Certainly she wanted to know what dark secrets lay in that ones head, and she had every intention of finding out. So when his scent passed by her, the russet girl saw an opening to see more about the male, and she found herself following him, graceful steps not betraying her as she watched from a distance. Amber orbs had fallen upon the male he had met at the borders, and she tilted her cranium ever so slightly, the connection there a mystery to her. Stepping forward out of the shadows, her blank façade fell upon her palette, masking her emotions to both males as she made herself known.

She was unfamiliar with the Bright Moon male at the boundary, and she had to wonder why he was here. The two packs had never particularly had a good relationship to say the least, and she could see this meeting ending diplomatically, or in bloodshed. As Grey Wind spoke however, the pieces fell into place as she realised who sat before her. This was the new leader of Bright Moon then; that only served to escalate the situation. Nodding her head once to the brute at the border -respect tended to go a long way in this case- she took her place beside Grey Wind, keeping her body language open and free of hostility at this point. "Kershov will be here shortly." She added onto her pack mates words calmly, face giving nothing away. She would let her Alpha decide ultimately how this would play out, however if Darcia was here to cause trouble then her response would be far less pleasant.

"I want my innocence back," she snarls.
