At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

The femme was not acting the way that she normally did. She was not the type to go up to a good looking male and just start having a conversation, that was not like her at all, especially right now, especially when she still felt the wound so new and fresh, when she felt so vulnerable still. But yet that’s what she had done. She had just waltzed up to an unknown brute that was sitting alone in the dark and asked him if she could sit with him? What was wrong with her? What was she thinking doing something like that, something that could potentially be dangerous. But she was not afraid of this brute, she knew she could handle herself, even if she was approaching a stranger in the dark. And she was definitely not the type to swoon over another male that she had just met, even a foreign and handsome brute like this one. The femme was not the type to believe in love at first site, yet when this brute smiled at her she couldn’t help smiling back and feeling some strange, foreign feeling in her stomach. Now she really knew something was wrong with her.

The brute smiled in a friendly gesture and the black femme returned the smile. He still had not spoken, had not answered her questions and she was wondering if she had been prying too much and had upset him. But yet he had smiled at her and told her it was alright for her to sit beside him, so why was he just sitting in silence now? Throughout the silence the brute was staring at her. At first Chenzii’s yellow orbs stared at his, but after a few moments she looked away, shy, unsure of what she should be doing. Finally the brute shook his head and broke the staring gaze. The brujo stood and spoke in his unique accent again, "You will have to forgive me for staring, my dear, but it has been some time since I have seen a face as...pure as yours." The femme was thankful for her dark fur to hide the blush that crept up her face, not used to such flattery. He chuckled and she continued to sit with her tail around her paws, looking away, embarrassed by his flattering words. Before Chenzii could speak the brute did something she was not expecting. He began to circle her, as if he was inspecting her, getting closer and closer to her with each step. Now she was staring at him, wondering what his true intentions were, suspicious for the first time since their encounter. Her yellow stargazers stared at him, glaring almost, ears pinned to her head, waiting to see what he would dare say to her next.

"But perhaps that is too forward. Again, please forgive me. I come from a place with customs all its own, very different than this place you call Blossom. Far, far to the north of here, buried deep in snow and ice all year round. That is the accent you hear." So it was a matter of different upbringing. She thought it was a little bizarre that he had been staring and circling her so much, but if that’s how lupines where he was from acted Chenzii couldn’t really blame him for his actions, could she? ”No…no. It’s fine, I’m just not used to males acting the way you do is all. But it makes sense if you aren’t from around here I suppose. I have never been to the North before. It must be very different from here.” As she spoke she realized how close he had gotten, without her even noticing somehow. If either lupine were to move their face forward their noses would be touching, a thought that made her blush again. The brute’s next words were spoken in a hushed whisper, "As for names, my dear, you will call me Sir, and I, if I may, will call you my Lady, and of course will promise to treat you as such." These words made Chenzii skeptical of the brute. She had never been asked to call anyone sir and she did not plan on starting out now, especially with someone she had just met, that had no authority, and that she did not know his actual name! She raised a brow at the brujo, but before she could respond he was speaking again, head cocked to the side, voice purring the vocals to her, making a shiver run involuntarily though her spine, “What would you say to that?”

She paused for a moment before speaking, brow still raised in suspicion at the brute, ears perked, ”Well, I guess I would say I’m not about to start calling a stranger sir, especially without knowing his real name. I’ve never called anyone sir and if I ever were it would be my alpha, not you.” She realized that she may be sounding rude, especially if he was raised differently. ”I do not mean to be rude. I know you are not from around here, it’s just not how I am is all. I do not mean to offend you. But I would still like to know your name” Chenzii tried to speak as friendly as possible, smiling again at the funny brute.

“Testing my Reply”
"We were never meant to last," She whispers.
