Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Sawyer was so caught off guard by her sassy retorts to his expressions of disbelief that he could not help but laugh. It was a pleasant, open laugh -- the kind of laugh that only comes with true, unfettered delight.

He was still grinning like a fool when their conversation turned to Iromar and the possibility of entering these strange lands. Slowly, the look of bright amusement was replaced by a thoughtful expression. His tail was wagging absent-mindedly behind him as he pondered the possibility of seeing what sort of bizarre creatures inhabited the lands of Iromar.

Had he known of her intentions to keep him in Iromar for as long as possible, he might have been a little more wary of her. Sawyer wasn't normally one to settle down permanently, and the thought of devoting his life to anything or anyone other than himself was more terrifying a notion than even the most revolting of cannibal acts. But perhaps if Aithne was clever enough, she would ensnare him for a lifetime, and he wouldn't even know she had intended it all along. So long as Iromar kept him well fed and entertained, he would have no reason to wander.

Fortunately for Aithne, Sawyer saw her not as a recruiter, but as a vividly intriguing figure offering to show him a land of even more exciting and provocative creatures. There wasn't a chance in hell he would turn down her invitation; he was so enamored with everything about her and everything she had told him so far.

Sawyer returned his sharp-eyed gaze to Aithne, and rose from his relaxed sitting posture. His feathery meal was utterly forgotten by now, which of itself should show the intensity with which he desired to see more of this land, Iromar.

"Let's go, then! Lead the way." He grinned, black eyes beaming with excitement.
