Soljor laughed at Mercury’s antics. He playfully bumped his nose against her shoulder as she grabbed his mane. He shook his head and looked at her. His smile was still there. Everything he had done was worth it to have her here.

He opened his mouth to answer some of her questions but more followed. She was being quite hyper today. He waited till he was certain she was done asking questions.

“I love the Bay, I don’t think I ever want to move,” Sojlor began. “It is much better than the Lagoon. No, Stardust and Harlequin are making sure we know every little thing that happens. And I’m glad the wolf-song has died down. I was beginning to worry.” Mercury offered to fight some wolves or a mountain lion. He would rather do that.

“Well, I haven’t seen any lions around,” He said. Thank the Lady. “And I think I finally managed to route the wolf pack. But, I was planning on driving the straggling caribou down to the ruins of the Cove. Care to join me?”

He nodded towards the trail that had been worn over time, inviting Mercury to walk with him.
