News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Death Makes Angels of Us All
IP: 173.57.213.176

death makes angels of us all and gives us wingswhere we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws.

I’m not really sure if my Mother holds any love for me. I mean she let me live which was nice of her. I was allowed to stay at her side within the den, even when I got out of the nursing stage. I think she did that only because the gators were getting a bit too close to the den. Maybe part of the deal she made with Andras was to keep me alive. Perhaps I should be grateful that I was simply made all for some sort of deal. Iromar needed more members and Mother needed to get her imprint off her back. Well, I guess you could say she got on her back, but I really shouldn’t be this cheeky. Point is, I’m here whether Mother wanted me or not and the fact that I am still breathing speaks that I was meant to survive. I thought my Father would be a little bit more affectionate with me. I mean he seemed all excited when I was born, always eager to say hello and spend time with me. But then one day he went poof and I haven’t seen him sense. So, maybe I wasn’t really wanted. That’s okay I guess.

As I sit quietly waiting for someone to come my crimson ears twitch when I heard the sound of paws scuffling on frost. Puzzled I tilt my cranium to the side as I notice a tawny looking fellow attempting to go down an incline with big paws. I lift my bloodstained banner up and down against the ground in reply to his own tail waving. I can’t say I’m overly excited to meet him. I mean, I was hoping someone way older would come greet me, because well I need information. If I cannot be wanted by my parents’ maybe I can get my pack to want me around. They leave me alone. I know I don’t try to go and meet them. Mother said I wasn’t supposed to trust anyone. Trusting others was a threat on my life. Why Mother seems to see the world with cruelty only affirms my hopes that I will not be like her in that mindset. As he sits before me, my own intense violet eyes stare into his golden ones. I think he is supposed to talk first. I’m the visitor. Wasn’t he supposed to say something like welcome speech and some sort of introduction, I hope he goes first. It would make things easier I think. Though I remain stoic, internally grateful to hear him speak, his short greet is responded with a nod. I’m not really used to talking, no one really talks to me and so I don’t have any use for my voice. I’m a bit timid to speak up. I think because I haven’t used my voice I am sure I must have lost it, but I don’t want to find out if that is true or not. As soon as he opens his mouth once more I relax slightly. He speaks true that I have followed proper protocol. I came with no intention to harm and I did not trespass. Though I do not think he is correct on one thing. Nodding my head again I lower my skull slightly putting it at his height since he is a bit smaller than me. As my jaw drops, my voice is slightly horse all because I haven’t used it in so long.

“I’d like to come in, but I do not think a pup like you has the authority to let me in…so I think it is best if I stay on this side until someone allows me in.”

As I speak and hear my voice I quickly go silent. I did not like the sound of my voice and I wish I could sound much nicer. I take a soft inhale and exhale as I feel my throat itch in need of water. Though I try not brighten my soft cool tone, but it seems I inherited the coldness in my voice from Mother, but still I sound much nicer than she could ever be.

“Besides I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble, Galileo, and you can call me Raven.”

And I hope you can be helpful to me in more ways than one.
