Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Really, she couldn't pinpoint just what it was about him that made him so interesting: perhaps it was the way he showed her something new, or the way he seemed so unlike all the others she had met. He was calm and quiet, like he knew just what to say at any given point. To be around him made her feel mature, and she was a lady after all so maturity was a must. Namira could not wait to go home and tell her family all about her mysterious friend and all of the fantastic things he had showed her, even if they made her see the true terror that was a spider. Awful creature, it was, destroying those cute little bugs. She shook her head at his question, her eyes turning to him with all the youth bestowed upon her.

"I've never seen. Mother and father just brings home for us. Is that what we do? It seems so mean!"

It was awful, too, to imagine her parents like that spider, with its inky black legs and eyes like the stars. She'd never really stopped to think about the food she ate, or just how little and fluffy those rabbits had been. She sighed, nestling her head into her paws as she gazed up at the spider, watching it slowly pull its prize back to its web. The little bug seemed to twitch at times before it was wrapped and spun in silk. It was when it was completely still that she turned back to him, staring up from her ways wistfully.

"Does it have to be so... violent? I don't want to be a spider!"

Her lips formed into a pout, her brows furrowed in childhood stubbornness as she attempted to picture a kinder way of doing the spider's job. After all, she never wanted to be hungry... but she did not want to be cruel.
