Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

I am on the scent of injury on the air. I am stirred by the thought of something weak and torn wandering this earth. Perhaps I am the part of my mother that wishes to cleanse this earth of the unworthy. I feel it is deep within my bones to rise up out of my lair. I do not live in one spot at a time any more. I have a few spots where I linger. I am certainty still welcome in the lands of Diveen, but I have not been there in a good many suns. I see no need to linger there. So many turn their backs on the language of the pure, so many are fake and weak within the confines of the piss stained borders. I am not one to stay there longer, but I am not going to...cut ties per say. There is always an advantage to being allowed there when I please, and being the child of Ava is enough.

My nares flare with the cool air. My white form glitters as I moves across earth like a monster silenced. I find myself stalking a wolf most injured, most unworthy of life. I see that her tail is missing, gone due to her very own weakness. I am far away, stalking among the trees, making sure my paws pause whenever she does, holding still behind trees like a ghost in fog. I watch as she bathes in the river, trying to cleanse herself of her very own weakness.

I find my teeth baring at the thought. I will cleanse her myself, end her very life if I must to put her out of her misery. I cannot see how I can cleanse her as I did Melek. I ripped the weakness right out of here, but this one? I cannot glue her tail back on. I find that I have been staring with my violet eyes laced with streaks of striking orange. I decided to move forth when she brought herself out of the water. I was still quite the distance away, and she howled out before I arrived. I paused, my white figure glowing in the shade of trees as I remain perfectly visible to the female. There is something within her voice. Something that is different and my desire to attack and rip is quelled, if only for a moment.

There is a fire within her voice and I am thinking she wishes for revenge upon those who tore her asunder. I smirk, my smirk reflecting that of a figure most famous in Moladion, for even my lack of knowledge of it, I am almost an exact replica of Heyel. I step forward, my tail lashing behind me as my face is touched with devious intent. Sometimes, I do enjoy playing with my subjects before I bare witness to their insides.

"Claude ostium tuum," I say with a touch of a growl in my throat. My muscles hardened move me into stillness as I stare her down feet away. I doubt she will understand me, but from here I get to see a better look of her form. She is beaten down. Ripped and torn. I wonder many things within my head. She was not strong enough to go unharmed, but it appears her attackers were never strong enough to finish the job. It is was an...interesting problem in his head. He snorted, narrowing his eyes.

"Ubi vos adepto vulneratus?" I ask, my voice commanding as I look over every little imperfection upon her form. My mind formulates what to say in the common tongue as I await her response, as I figure since I have not seen her mingle with those who speak Latin, she will not know what I say. The Latin in my white pelt surely give me a touch of Diveen, and yet the pack scent is not laced upon my pelt one bit. In fact, all I smell of is woods and blood. Not enough blood, if you ask me.
