As Lyden struggled to get back on his legs I gave him gentle support as I attempted to press my shoulder to his rump. When he finally fully rose the scent of blood became even more over powering. With little hesitation my ears flew to my head and I traveled over to his front. Chocolate eyes seeing a familiar sight that sent fire through my veins. Such a hypocrite! The thought shouted with rage and I turned away in rage. Both at the wolves and Lyden. Yes, he was the lead stallion and he was supposed to protect the herd, but if it had gotten this bad he should've called for help. Something! Turning my head my ears remained back. Idiot! If it had gotten this bad call for freaking help! I'm pretty sure none of us want to find you dead somewhere! We are family right? Then ask for help hypocrite! Turning my gaze towards Aure I began calming down, but not without another word spoken. If I see a wolf...I'll smash it's skull in.
With that said I fell into silence. Ears still pinned back with frustration. It wasn't until a few moments after I realized my stupidity with voicing my mind at this moment. Embarrassment quickly became a friend and I full on turned my back towards everyone as I walked a distance away. Still able to hear and see everyone, but far enough to not make a fool out of myself. I wouldn't take back my words though because they were true. Seriously, he tells us to rely on one another and tell of our problems yet he doesn't do the same when it's actually needed. Peaking over towards him with worry I quickly shook my head. If there was that many and they did that to him then he could've called for someone. Anyone. Not suffer alone like this. Suffering alone got you hatred, pent up anger, and death. Negative thoughts always comes during the weakest times, doesn't he know that?
