Right - she should have brought that up with her father. She was almost embarrassed that she hadn't. After all, Riopat was the master healer and not the master hunter; somebody like Rogue or even Sinclair would have been better to go to. She at least tried to hide her embarrassment, flashing a smile and nodding graciously. "Yes, of course, my fath-I mean, Tesseract will know what to do with the hunts." Everyone else seemed to separate she from he so it only made sense that she started too as well. Besides, wasn't it better to be known as an individual and not just his daughter? Definitely - it had to be! Just like Sinclair was, well, Sinclair and not part of the Diveen family tree. They all had to make a name for themselves so maybe today would be that day for her. She seemed to fall deep in that thought for a moment, her brows furrowed so slightly before the enthusiastic smile of Riopat brought her attention back to the real world. She was... happy? Happy that somebody wanted to learn? Cersei could not help but grin! She wanted to learn everything, after all, but part of her was glad that she had managed to appeal to Riopat before Maradona had. Her tail waved, though her mouth fell into a surprised 'o' when Riopat mentioned her own children. "Glorall will have more children? How exciting! You must be so very excited, Miss Riopat. I'll be sure to pay real close attention so I can help you - otherwise, we're right near Diveen and, and, I'm sure they'd help us if we really needed it." Sinclair would be sure, right? He'd march over there and pull the strings... she had faith in him. He had gone and shown them the strength of Glorall so surely they had to respect them now. Still, she kept on smiling even if she wasn't entirely sure - it didn't matter, anyway, because she'd learn everything she could before the time came. When it did, she'd be ready and she'd make her newly found teacher proud. The mere thought made her chest puff out a little as she loped behind Riopat, nodding as she spoke. Maybe healing had never been put so well before but suddenly, it seemed like one of the strongest arts there was: she couldn't be afraid, if not for herself then for others. She had to speak on that for a moment before querying Riopat, loping to her side. "Have you ever had to help a wolf in such a state? I've never seen somebody... that unwell, not really. I can't imagine it." |
